i was in britain, waiting in the bus. outside the airport. waiting for the officials to come get the singapore team. i looked out. i saw a car. at the roadside.

a woman and a man were inside. talking. the man got out, got his suitcase out of the boot. said goodbye to the woman. and walked into the airport.

the woman. stood outside the car for awhile. then, she went back in. she sat at the driver's seat for a moment longer. then. she started to sob uncontrollably. this went on for about 5 minutes. or longer.

i hope she got home safe and sound.
